is completely FREE.
What is the difference
between an Yoho.com Search Box and Search Distribution?
Basically, they're the same thing with
just a different appearance and different methods of implementation.
Our Search Box partners are sites who want the convenience
of a simple search box to accentuate their site and add a
reliable, secondary source of revenue. Our Search Distribution
partners typically offer an emphasis in searching and a larger
scale of search capabilities. Using XML programming, they
are able to seamlessly integrate the look and feel into their
site. They can also mix and match our search results with
results of their own. If you’re unsure about which option
is right for you, simply fill out our registration form
and one of our Business Development Account Managers will
discuss each option in more detail and help you choose the
best one for you.
What if my site
is based outside the US or Canada?
We accept the site written in English
all around the world. But we only accept IP traffic/click
from English speaking countries. Other IP traffic/click will
be filtered by our system.
Can I create a
sub-affiliate with your Search Box?
No. We encourage you to refer other
partners to us, but you may not create a sub-affiliation with
them. Developing any sub-affiliation will cause your account
to be terminated. If you are interesting in referring a substantial
amount of partners, please contact your Business Development
Account Manager for a customized bonus program.
Can I incentivize
my search box?
No. Yoho.com is committed towards bringing
quality traffic to our advertisers. Incentives greatly reduce
this level of quality. In order to maintain our program¡¯s
integrity, we ask that you do not offer incentives that are
in any way connected to ¡°clicking¡±
or searching. Any partner who disregards this rule will be
suspended and their revenue for that month will be forfeited.
Can't I just click
repeatedly on my search results to make a lot of money?
NO! Be forewarned, we have a very sophisticated
Fraud Protection Program. Your traffic must be relative and
proportionately equal to the rest of our partners’ traffic.
If you try to exploit the system, you will be caught, your
account will be terminated, and your earnings will be forfeited.
Simply put, fraudulent clicks or activity of any kind will
not be tolerated. Please honor yourselves, respect our program,
and use the system as it was intended. In this way, we will
all benefit.

Can
my search box have my site¡¯s name on it and not
Yoho.com¡¯s?
Absolutely. We encourage our partners
to have their own look and feel on our search boxes and as
part of our search distribution network. In fact, with our
XML programming option, you¡¯ll have the ability
to mix, match, and customize many more options! Plus, unlike
other search box providers, we don¡¯t ¡®penalize¡¯
you with reduced revenue or added fees to achieve your own
look and feel. We would like to ask you to place our ¡°Powered
by Yoho.COM SDN¡± logo discreetly at the bottom
of your search result pages, if possible.
How many different
types of search boxes do you offer?
We offer a vast array. We offer search
boxes that use HTML, search boxes that frame your site¡¯s
design, or you can alter our search results further to fit
the needs of your site using XML programming or our Java photo
search. Plus, if there is something your site needs that we
don¡¯t currently offer, we¡¯ll do our
best to create it for you.
Is it OK to add
my Search Box to other URLs?
Yes. You can use the Yoho.com Search
Boxes on as many pages and sites as you like. Simply copy
the code from your original site and add it to the new ones.
After updating your site, please e-mail info@yoho.com
with all of the new URLs containing an Yoho.com Search Box.
As a reminder, please remember that we do not allow any sub-affiliate
partners into our program. The extra URLS or domains must
be owned by you, the approved partner.
